Indiana District 1 Fire Training and the MAAC will be putting on a one-day extrication class focusing on bus operations. We will have several busses to work on. The MAAC will the provide the busses and all the tools and equipment needed. The day will begin with a classroom presentation using IFSTA Principles of Extrication, 4th ed. The rest of the day will be a hands-on skills day. PPE will be mandatory and will consist of eye protection, foot protection (steel toe boots), long sleeve shirt (cut and fire resistant), and hand protection (gloves). Bunker gear or extrication gear will be acceptable. No shorts or short sleeve shirts will be allowed.
